CORAL CANYON STATE PARK:

Road trip down the coast highway to go biking at Coral Canyon State Park:
Coral Canyon, Paramount Ranch and Malibu Creek are all part of the Santa Monica state park system.
Headed down the pacific coast highway, with a view of Malibu in the background.
Hang a right and head up Coral Canyon road, with great views back to the ocean.
The road ends in this parking lot. The trail head is between the break of yellow grasses. You're at the top of the mountain range now, right in admist the clouds.
The ride down the narrow single track is fast and fun. You can see that it descends right into the valley below. The range of hills in the background you quickly aproach and climb. The views from the top of them are rewarding though.
You can even see down into the valley where the Paramount Ranch park is [off to the right] as well as the hidden away Malibu Lake.
There are some really spectacular rock formations, the pictures don't do them justice.
